Our Diploma Years (DP) consist of the last two years of High School, respectively, Grades 11 and 12. These two pivotal years of Diploma preparation serve to lead students to deepen and solidify their knowledge and skills in areas of learning that go beyond regular state high school standards.

Specifically, at the end of Grade 12, students go through the IB Diploma and the Italian Scientific High School Diploma. This double Diploma structure allows students to apply for their best-fit choice of colleges confidently, supported by our College Counselor, who constantly communicates with students and families about their University prep journey. In line with the Middle Years, the DP Years allow students to investigate various subject areas in line with the IB Diploma coursework and the Italian National High School requirements.

Lastly, from Grades 10 to 12, our full-time students have the chance to share the school year with Study Abroad students that we welcome from multiple schools worldwide. Students in the Study Abroad program can choose to experience La Scuola’s academics and New York City for a semester or two, depending on their coursework.
