Our Middle Years go from Grade 6 to Grade 10 in line with the International Baccalaureate framework. Within our Middle Years, we include students who follow the Middle School coursework with the Italian Middle School exam in Grade 8 and the first two years of High School, respectively, Grade 9 and Grade 10.

Middle School students are asked to inquire into subject areas in great depth. English, Italian, Mathematics, World History, Geography, IT & Design, Individuals & Societies, Physical Education, Music, Visual Arts, English as a New Language (for specific needs), and Italian as a New Language (for specific needs).

Grade 9 and 10 students start coursework in Latin, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Philosophy and Art History.

Moreover, from Grade 6 upwards, students have three to five periods a week of Elective subjects in which they can choose their learning path. Students are exposed to subjects such as Business, Finance, Music Band, Bilingual Journal Writing, and Model United Nations.
