About La Scuola
La Scuola d’Italia is unique in New York in providing a classical education with an additional emphasis on science, engineering and math, areas of study increasingly critical for societal and individual success.
La Scuola has grown into a multicultural and multilingual educational institution in which students develop a sophisticated level of bilingualism in English and Italian. Until the current year, French was introduced in the 6th grade, but starting in September 2018, it will be part of the preschool curriculum, thus giving students the opportunity to master this important European language by the time they complete High School.  In the high school years students are also required to study Latin language and literature.
