Ms. Laura Rottino
has been a teacher for over 17 years. Three of those years she was a teaching assistant in 5th and 6th grade. Most recently, she has been an inclusion teacher in a Special Education Preschool and the school year of 2015-2016 she was excited to teach 3rd grade at La Scuola d’Italia. Laura received her bachelor’s degree from St. Joseph’s College and is certified to teach general and special education. For her masters, she attended Hunter College and earned her certification in Literacy Education. She is qualified to be a Literacy Specialist and personally has a deep love of reading. On her free time, she loves to spend time with friends, family, enjoy nature and has a passion for the arts. She strives to incorporate appreciation for nature and art into her classroom as well.
