On May 3, the students from 3rd to 11th Grade took a trip to the Theater of St. Jean to attend the dress rehearsal of the Barbiere di Siviglia by the New York City Opera. It was a unique experience, thanks to the guidance of Mr. Capasso who walked the students through the notes and story of this opera buffa by Rossini. We enjoyed the famous motivetto Figaro qua, Figaro là…. and laughed with Rosina and Bartolo. At the end of the performance, we all went back to school humming!
