La Scuola offers a unique enrichment program on leadership, management and globalization.
The logic underlying the Global Management and Leadership Program is straightforward. The study of management and leadership is inherently multi and inter-disciplinary and permits students to be introduced to concepts and ideas that are most relevant to any university course of study. Further, and of outmost importance, the study of management and leadership is crucial to students’ future success in their career and life. Success in any field will require them to be managers and leaders with a global mindset.
The objective of the Program is to help students to develop significant skills in the areas of: critical reading and thinking; information gathering, analyzing, and synthetizing; oral and written communication; collaboration; adaptability; creativity; innovation; and entrepreneurialism.
Through an adroit mix of lectures, discussions, training, and case studies students will be exposed to some of the most interesting realities of today. The Program is complemented by a plan of interviews of leaders and managers from the worlds of business, politics, science, technology, the arts, and nonprofit organizations conducted by the Leadership Program designer.
The Program is offered to students in the last two years of Liceo and has been designed and is being taught by an academic with thirty years of experience in integrating disciplines, cultures, and languages in university teaching, public speaking, writing, and consulting.
