American Society of the Italian Legions of Merit
President Emerita, Chief of Protocol, Representative UN/NGO, former Chairperson, 1993 to Present. First woman President. In 1998 organized nationwide support for reform of the U.N. Security Council to include Italy among non-permanent rotating members. Founded in 1965, the Society serves as the chief reference point in the United States between the chivalric world of Italy, functions at the highest levels of the chivalric, diplomatic and beneficient arenas and aims to strengthen the bonds of friendship between the two countries.

Villa Firenze Foundation
Vice President. 2009 to Present. The VFF is an American Foundation founded in Washington, D.C. in 2008 to promote a better understanding of Italy throughout the United States. The Foundation’s primary mission is to enhance and foster cultural, educational and economic exchanges and events between the United States and Italy; to provide scholarships and internships for graduate students to study and work in both countries.
