Our Middle years go from grade 6 to grade 10, which aligns with the International Baccalaureate framework. Within our Middle Years, we include students who follow the Middle School coursework with the Italian Middle School exam in Grade 8 and the first two years of High School, respectively, Grade 9 and Grade 10.

Middle School students are asked to inquire into the following subject areas in great depth:

English, Italian, Mathematics, Latin, Philosophy, World History, Geography, IT & Design, Individuals & Societies, Physical Education, Music, Visual Arts, English as a New Language (for specific needs), and Italian as a New Language (for specific needs).

Grade 9 and 10 students start coursework in Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Art History, Public Speaking and Debate.

Moreover, from Grade 6 upwards, students have three to five periods a week of Elective subjects in which they can choose their learning path. Students are exposed to subjects such as Business, Finance, Music Band, Bilingual Journal Writing, and Model United Nations.
